About Me
I’m Fahmida, a qualified teacher and 11+ English specialist.
I'm Fahmida, a qualified and experienced teacher turned 7+ and 11+ tutor. I have taught in state and independent preparatory schools across London and have tutored children from Year 1 to Year 6, though I specialise in 11+ and KS2 education.
With over a decade of teaching experience, I have a wealth of insight into how children learn best. I also have an academic background in psychology, I was Head of PSHE in a prep school for several years, and I am a qualified mindfulness teacher.
My mission has always been to make learning as enjoyable, effective, and emotionally supportive as possible for young minds. I believe children thrive when education is both structured and nurturing, where academic growth goes hand in hand with well-being.
That is why I founded Miss Ismail Tutoring, a calm and supportive space where children can enjoy learning, reach their academic goals, and build real confidence, whilst taking the pressure off parents during what can be a very stressful process.
